GSP receives new commander

Lt. Col. Kim Herd makes her first remarks as the Persistent Infrared Analysis Squadron commander during the squadron’s change of command ceremony June 22, 2022 here. Before arriving at the National Air and Space Intelligence Center, Herd worked as the Deputy Chief, Intelligence Operations Division, U.S. Strategic Command. The Persistent Infrared Analysis Squadron’s mission is to provide innovative processing, exploitation, and dissemination of intelligence products derived from service and national persistent Infrared sensors integrating intelligence analysis and leading edge research development, and acquisition management to advance service and national-level capabilities enabling all source analysis, full spectrum military operations, force modernization, and policy making.
