NCO saves lives
Leaders of Jefferson Township, a municipality within the city of Dayton, Ohio, presented several awards to Staff Sgt. Aaron Roll, a member of the National Air and Space Intelligence Center,(third on right) and his fiancée, Cassidy Carpenter, for their actions to pull a trapped man from a house fire as Roll's unit leaders look on during a township meeting June 8. Emergency responders credited the pair's reaction as likely saving the man's life during the March 30 fire. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Samuel Earick/Released)
