War Stories

Victor Bilek, a retired National Air and Space Intelligence Center Airman, stares up at a B-29 Superfortress Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2015 at the National Air Force Museum. He worked on experimental armament for the airplane during WWII. As a non-rated officer, he had more flying hours in the plane than any other person on Wright Field at the time. At 97 years old, Bilek is the oldest living NASIC alum. He recently came to the Center to share his war stories with today's generation of Airmen. (U.S. Air Force photo by Tech. Sgt. Raymond Hoy)
