NASIC Tech Sgt Suprised with STEP Promotion

Tech Sgt. Philip Ray, Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge for ELINT analysis at the National Air and Space Intelligence Center’s Signals Analysis Squadron is promoted to the rank of technical sergeant through the Stripes for Exceptional Performers program and is congratulated by Col D. Scott George, NASIC Commander on Jan 25, 2010. Cross training from the medical field to the intelligence field in 2007, Sergeant Ray leads a team of 24 signals analysts that work to improve future US Air Force systems. Of his recent accomplishments, Sergeant Ray earned Center NCO of the quarter twice and Group NCO of the quarter four times. In his medical days, Sergeant Ray was responsible for saving a child’s life by quickly diagnosing and stabilizing a young patient suffering from acute appendicitis.
