NASIC recognizes member for 50 years of government service

WRIGHT-PATERSON AFB, Ohio--On Nov. 5, Rolland Kauppila, an Information Technology Specialist with the National Air and Space Intelligence Center, was recognized by Col. Aaron Prupas, NASIC commander, for his 50 years of government service. After separating from the Air Force in 1966 as a Sergeant, Rolland was hired as a civilian employee into the same office he worked in while active duty at the Foreign Technology Division, the predecessor of NASIC. During the recognition ceremony, his wife Linda of 43 years was there to place his 50 year pin on to his lapel. (U.S. Air Force photo/ Staff Sgt. Veronica Pierce)
