Army Air Corps World War II veterans John “Jerry” Johnson and Milton Dienes visited with Airmen from the 14th Intelligence Squadron and the National Air and Space Intelligence Center at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, Sept. 22-25. During the war, the veterans served in the 9th Photographic Technical Squadron which was responsible for documenting and processing imagery captured during and after the atomic strikes on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The 14th IS, an Air Force Reserve Command active-duty unit assigned to the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, works in collaboration with NASIC and traces its lineage to the 9th PTS.
