Raymond Hoy National Air and Space Intelligence Center WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Ohio -- Two National Air and Space Intelligence Center Airmen were recognized by the Headquarters Air Force, A2 (Intelligence) Friday, Feb. 5, 2016 for outstanding contributions in the intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance mission area.Tech. Sgt. Joshua Baldwin and Senior Airman Andrey Bilokonsky, both from the Geospatial and Signatures Intelligence Group, won the 2015 Scientific Applications Specialist of the Year Award supervisor and technician awards respectively.The Scientific Applications Specialist of the Year Award recognizes Airmen who excelled personally and professionally within the Scientific Applications Specialist career field. Baldwin was recognized for his support in emerging technologies at the Center for Rapid Innovation in Dayton, Ohio."I just want to thank my supervision," Baldwin said. "Especially Chief Master Sgt. (Robert) Lafontaine and Master Sgt. (Francisco) Martinez who supported my nomination for this great honor. It truly has beena humbling experience and just another reason why I truly feel that theleadership working within the National Air and Space Intelligence Center is the best team in the Air Force."Both Airmen's actions were lauded by Geospatial and Signatures Intelligence Group leadership."We are extremely proud to have two Air Force-level winners in our Group," LaFontaine said. "It is humbling to serve with great Airmen like Sergeant Baldwin and Airman Bilokonsky. Their dedication to the NASIC mission is evident by their professionalism and technical proficiency."
