Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio -- The Persistent Infrared Analysis Squadron, commonly referred to as GSP, held a change of command ceremony here June 17.
During the ceremony, Lt. Col. Nicholas Torroll, GSP outgoing commander, relinquished command of the squadron to Lt. Col. Andrew Lee. Col. Zarine E. Malesra, Geospatial and Signature Intelligence Group commander, presided over the ceremony.
GSP provides innovative processing, exploitation and dissemination of intelligence products derived from service and national persistent infrared sensors. The squadron integrates intelligence analysis with leading-edge research, development and acquisition management to advance service and national-level capabilities, enabling all-source analysis, full-spectrum military operations, force modernization and policymaking.
