Top performers celebrated for excellence at Annual Awards ceremony

The best and brightest walked the red carpet as the National Air and Space Intelligence Center honored its top performers during the 2024 Annual Awards ceremony, held in the Benson Auditorium here April 16.

Nominees from across NASIC competed in numerous categories, showcasing the best in leadership, teamwork, and mission success.

Col. Kenneth Stremmel, NASIC commander; Chief Master Sgt. David Southall, NASIC command chief; and Joseph Herrmann, NASIC director of staff, joined the award winners on stage, recognizing the achievements that keep NASIC one of premiere organizations in the DoD.

The 2024 NASIC winners are:

Airman of the Year: Senior Airman Vincent Mattox

Non-Commissioned Officer of the Year: Tech. Sgt. Keenan Knop

Senior Non-Commissioned Officer of the Year: Master Sgt. Shmir Bishop

First Sergeant of the Year: Master Sgt. Richard Good

Company Grade Officer, Individual Mobilization Augmentee of the Year: Capt. Grant Johnson

Company Grade Officer of the Year: Capt. Stone Shoaf
Field Grade Officer, Individual Mobilization Augmentee of the Year: Maj. Jason Pallo

Field Grade Officer of the Year: Maj. John DiEugenio

Civilian Category I of the Year: Amy Frasure

Civilian Category II of the Year: Amber Terril

Civilian Category III of the Year: William Cabral

Civilian Category IV of the Year: William Hess

Civilian Category V of the Year: Andrew Weisner

Volunteer of the Year: Micah Price
