WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE -- WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Ohio – Lt. Gen. Mary O’Brien, Deputy Chief of Staff for Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance (ISR) and Cyber Effects Operations (CEO), visited the National Air and Space Intelligence Center Jan. 23, 2020.
The daylong visit –O’Brien’s first to NASIC since assuming her position – included mission and program briefings from across the Center.
In the afternoon, O’Brien held a town hall highlighting topics like joint warfighting, information warfare, the Air Force cyber mission and the development of strong, diverse teams. She wrapped up by answering audience questions on resilience, educational growth in intelligence career fields and the importance of being open to new opportunities.
O’Brien is responsible to the Secretary and Chief of Staff of the Air Force for policy, guidance, oversight and leadership of Air Force ISR and CEO capabilities. As the Air Force's Senior Intelligence Officer, she is also directly responsible to the Director of National Intelligence and the Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence.
