Chief Master Sgt. Tabatha A. Sanders is the Command Chief, National Air and Space Intelligence Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. In this capacity, she serves as the principal advisor to the commander and senior staff on all matters affecting the professional development and effective utilization of nearly 3,800 military and civilian personnel. NASIC is the Air Force's premier analysis center for foreign air, space, and specialized intelligence. With four groups, 17 squadrons, and five directorates, NASIC provides an expansive range of tailored, integrated assessments, products, and services to joint operational forces, national policymakers, and the acquisition community.
Chief Sanders entered the Air Force in January 2001. She graduated from the Intelligence Applications Apprentice course at Goodfellow AFB, Texas, in July 2001. Her background includes tactical intelligence support to fighters and base defense missions, as well as strategic intelligence support at the National Air and Space Intelligence Center, major command, and joint combatant command levels. Her assignments include Florida, Ohio, Washington D.C., and Virginia; and her overseas assignments include the Republic of Korea, Germany, and the United Kingdom. She has deployed to Southwest Asia four times in support of Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom.
Prior to her current position, Chief Sanders was the Senior Enlisted Leader of the 55th Operations Group, Offutt AFB, Nebraska.
