COLONEL PARKER H. WRIGHT

Col. Parker H. Wright is the Commander, National Air and Space Intelligence Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. NASIC is the Air Force analysis center for foreign air, space and specialized intelligence. He is responsible for operating the $2.1 billion center with its four groups, four directorates and 18 squadrons. Managing an annual budget of more than $480 million, he leads more than 3,200 personnel providing a broad range of integrated, tailored assessments, products and services to joint operational forces, national policymakers and the acquisition community.

Colonel Wright earned his commission through the U.S. Air Force Academy as a distinguished graduate. He holds degrees from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University and the School of Advanced Air and Space Studies. Colonel Wright’s staff assignments include Headquarters, U.S. Air Force; U.S. Air Forces in Europe; and the Joint Staff. He previously commanded the 659th Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Group and the National Air and Space Intelligence Center's Signals Analysis Squadron. Colonel Wright has deployed in support of air operations over Iraq, Afghanistan, and the Balkans.

Prior to his current position, Colonel Wright commanded the Joint Intelligence Operations Center Europe Analytic Center at Royal Air Force Molesworth, United Kingdom.
